Q. What inspired you or led you to your current career?
I stumbled upon my career when I answered phones for a Mortgage Co.
My mom was a play director and since a little child thought acting was so cool. I went to SDSU and then went to CA to act! I was an Actress & Producer – Previously an actress as a Cop on CSI for 6 years & also a member of Screen Actors Guild and I still am!
Q. What is your favorite restaurant in Rapid City and what do you love there?
I am really into Sushi. FUJI is amazing and Hana Japanese/Korean Grill & Sushi Bar. I love the raw Sushi.
Q. How long have you lived or worked in Rapid City?
We moved back in 2011 & I worked in the Chemical Dep Counseling Industry and then onto Mortgage Company and then fell into love with it!
Q. Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in RCity? Who would you like to see nominated as a Face of RCity?
Lisa Modrick….She ran for city council and I helped door knock for her. Her Husband Mike Modrick is the Chief Meteorologist & they are great friends of mine.
Q. If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be? And why?
Somewhere Tropical. I love the warm weather; But I wouldn’t trade anything for SD!
Q. What is your favorite movie OR what is the first movie you remember seeing in a theatre?
Rainman is my favorite movie – Dustin Hoffman was amazing!!

Q. What advice would you give a crowd of people?
“Flip the Script”…See differently than what we are taught.
Q. What is something on your bucket list?
This is difficult as I have lived so many years for my kids (ages 7&4)…But I think I’d have to say Sky Diving.
Q. What is your favorite music/ 3 bands you would like to see (dead or alive)?
Contemporary Christian Music is my favorite & very uplifting…I am very touched by music.
Music brings alive something in me…
I have seen For King and Country many times!
Q. What current / former local business makes you the most nostalgic about Rapid City?
8th grade and Senior Yr …I was in All State Chorus, it was always so great coming here from East River. Always such a big deal to come to Rapid City and going to the Civic Center, staying at the Hotels with the waterslide…going shopping at the Rushmore Mall
Q. Choosing anyone alive and a non-relative: with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? Where in Rapid City would you have lunch?
Donald Trump and we would eat at Mt. Rushmore
Q. What is your favorite thing or something unique about RCity?
Love Main Street Square…Love how it brings people together. People just want to be a part of a community & there is something about putting my phone away and going down to Main Street Square to a concert etc..such a cool place!

Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 or 10 years?
5 years my son’s 12 and daughter is 9…still going to be home and they’ll need me and a Lender. I want to be the preferred lender of the BH region. NOT just a loan originator but a true mortgage consultant and the face to WHY to invest in Rapid City.
10 years …maybe a Real Estate Agent!
Q. (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
Probably that I was an Actress….and I sing. At one point in my life I wanted to be a Rapper. My Rapper name picked out was Fem n M

Cozy for sure…

Lucille Ball…Somebody in another life I would have loved to have modeled my career after..Great Slapstick Comedy

Chef, Housekeeper, Driver, Coach, Physical Fitness Trainer, or Nanny?
Nanny for sure!
Moving to Rapid City was not something I necessarily had In mind but, the best thing I have ever done. The values here are my values. These are my people. Rapid City is a very special place to me.
