Andrea Schoenefeld

Andrea everyday service and welcoming attitude has earned her a nomination on The Faces of Rapid City Community webpage.  She always goes above and beyond, she remembers your drink, your order (if your a regular), and I have never seen her in a bad mood.  She is always positive and she works very hard.  The next time your in Buffalo Wild Wings make sure to ask for Andrea your dining experience will be amazing and make sure to give her a HUGE TIP 🙂 !!!!!

I was born and raised in Aberdeen, SD and moved to Rapid City a few years ago to be closer to family. Since moving here I’ve been working at Buffalo Wild Wings. In my free time, I love to hike and read and watch movies, just to name a few things.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I have four awesome kids (3 boys and 1 girl.)

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I’ve been a server for the better part of a decade. I love it because of all of the people I meet that I probably wouldn’t have met otherwise but also the fast paced nature of the business. It’s a fun job!

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in Rapid City?
My all time favorite restaurant in Rapid City is Himalayan Kitchen but a close second would have to be Thai Thai.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in Rapid City?
I’ve lived and worked in Rapid City for three years.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
If I had to choose just one place, I would pick India because it is beautiful there. Also, Indian food is my favorite.

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
One of my favorite movies is Stepbrothers because it’s hilarious!

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Be kind to one another. You never know the struggles someone else might be facing.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
I think skydiving would be a blast!

Q: What is your go to band when you cant decide what to listen to?
Lately, it’s been Harry Styles but Chris Cornell is one of my main go-to’s as well.

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where in Rapid City would y’all meet for this lunch?
I would choose Eckart Tolle. I’m currently reading his book: “The Power of Now” and I would love to pick his brain. I would take him to Himalayan Kitchen.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about Rapid City?
The beautiful Black Hills of course.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I don’t know where I’ll be in 5 to 10 years but as long as my family is happy and healthy, I’m satisfied with that.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I graduated from massage therapy school.

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
It would either be the Colorado Rockies or the California coast.

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
I love April because it’s the end of Winter/beginning of Spring. My favorite holiday is the Fourth of July and May 2nd is my birthday so that’s probably my favorite day on the calendar.

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
The peace and quiet in nature.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
The strong women in my family are my inspiration to be a better person. My mom, my grandmother and my aunt.

The smell of rain is so calming to me.

Family, comfort, safe
